VINx2 is sensational. It adds a level of service that we just weren't able to provide for our clients in the past. Our clients can jump onto the system at anytime and interrogate the database for the information they need, when they need it. They love it and no longer have to wait for our winemakers to turn around reports. One very powerful feature is the ability to see the opening and closing stock balance of a wine batch, for any timeframe, and the movements and additions in between. My impressions of jx2 software are: Modern and very user-friendly interface with much more detail than our previous winery software program. Any suggestions we have made for amendments and add-ins have been met with enthusiasm and prompt updates performed by the vinx2 team.

The support has been excellent.

On the program itself, we chose it due to our new warehouse and bottling line going in and we needed to track wine after it is bottled which was not possible with our previous system. Now we can bottle and track wine in the warehouse and despatch as and when it happens.

The report section is very useful as we can print out or email professional and easy to read reports for our contract clients easily. The crush summary shows intakes by tonnes and analysis all on one sheet which is very useful at vintage. LIP letters are automatically generated.

Links to weather stations and the ability to enter grape sample data and link to weather data and chart whatever you like is very useful for our records. Ferment charts are also plotted automatically when data is entered twice a day.

Composition by vintage, owner, region, variety are all also automatically displayed as a pie graph when looking at the blend details which is a clever feature and it's refreshing not to have to search back through loads of data to see composition details. Extras like being able to log services on different pieces of equipment, being able to add in tasting notes, and winery map are also useful.
